Six Days

After six days and six nights of no electricity, heat, or running water, we are back on the grid! I have never been so appreciative of warmth, light, and the luxuriousness of what I consider to be "the basics."  And I've never been so thankful for people acting as a community and giving what they have to offer, even when they are lacking themselves.  This week has seemed like a month, and I'm excited to catch up (I'm even thankful for my slow, nearly dead computer!) but first there is some serious cleaning to be done...
